ACQUISTO DEI NOSTRI PRODOTTI
A globe is a three-dimensional scale of
Earth (terrestrial globe or geographical globe) or other spheroid celestial body such as a planet, star, or moon. Some terrestrial globes include relief to show mountains and other features on the
Earth's surface. The word "globe" comes from the latin word globus, meaning round mass or sphere.
But the globe is also a magical object: be it because it is in the shape of a sphere, or because it evokes faraway worlds which we never saw. There is no household without a globe, usually made of plastics, sometimes lit by a light placed inside it.
Our globes are, on the contrary, entirely made of inlaid wood; the wood gets carefully chosen among numberless sorts that come out of Africa, Asia and the Americas.
Inside the segments the globe is empty and it
only weighs 3.5 kilos.
Our globes are elegant pieces of interior decoration, handmade by placing side by side 24 segments – and pasting them together; they are always made up of two woods, the one lighter, the other darker.
We suggest some ways of accosting woods that create the most interesting chromatic results. You will then see Asian teakwood next to lime, pink pao next to
This is not all, because when the globe reaches your home it must be put in place according with the setting: either on the floor or on a stem made of wood, hanging from the ceiling, placed on its own low table, in any case conveniently placed in the environment.
